Stainless Steel Grades: 304 SSl - 304H & 304L - One of the most widely used and oldest of the stainless steels. This was originally called 18-8 which stood for its chromium and nickel content. It possesses an excellent combination of strength and corrosion resistance 310 SS - 310H - The strength of this alloy is a combination of good strength and corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 2100 F 316 SS - 316L - is an austenitic stainless steel has an increased molybdenum content to increase its resistance to corrosion when compared to other 300 series alloys. 317 SS - 317 is a high chromium, nickel and molybdenum version of 316 stainless designed principally for increased strength and corrosion resistance.

The Taper Plug valve is manufactured in sizes 1/2 inch thru 12 inch and is used on a wide variety of liquid, gaseous, and slurry services.

The tapered plug is held firmly into its tapered seat but can be adjusted so that complete leak tightness is achieved together with smooth valve operation. The tapered seat surfaces of the plug and body are not exposed to the line fluid when the valve is in the open position, so that the effects of corrosion and erosion are confined to the less important parts of the valve. Also since there is a straight flow path through the valve, there is very little resistance to flow and pressure loss is minimized.

All Carbon Steel taper plug valves, sizes 1-1/2 inch and above, have plugs with Audco Super LoMu treatment. In this unique process, low friction PTFE is incorporated in the surface structure of the valve plug metal. This gives easier operation and enhanced resistance to taper lock over thousands of operations or many years of service.

The taper plug valve is not a pressure balanced plug valve and therefore is supplied only up to ANSI #300. For higher pressure classes or more critical services the Super-H valve shall be selected.

Wafer type Butterfly Valves

AIL SLIMSEAL is a Wafer type Butterfly valve, with an integrally molded elastomer body liner. Designed to outperform loose liners , SLIM Seal's elastomer liner is molded directly in the body bore and vulcanized in-situ, making it last the entire life of the valve. Audco Ball Valves

This 3-piece Ball Valve is the most easily on-line maintainable in its class. By removing three body connector bolts and loosening the fourth, the body can be swung away using the fourth bolt as the fulcrum, to carry out any installation or maintenance operation on the valve, thus reducing down time.
